* Develop and execute functional, regression tests for User Interface Technology

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Five or more years work experience.

* Three or more years HTML or XHTML experience

* Three or more years experience working with Cascading Style Sheets

* Three or more years experience working with JavaScript

* Must have experience with DOJO JavaScript library

* Experience with other 3rd party JavaScript libraries a plus

* Experience with Flash or Flex a plus

Software Developer Specialist

This opening is on the implementation team that develops and supports custom built applications that manage the rights and scheduling for Turner’s programming content.  This includes programming content that airs on all of Turner’s networks, as wells as various digital platforms such as VOD, Broadband, and Mobile.

 

The Software Development Specialist participates in coding, testing, implementation, and/or support of software applications and may create system reports based on direct user requirements.

 

·         Participate in the analysis of customer and vendor requirements to understand the business and system needs regarding user interfaces, application enhancements, new functionality, and backend processes in collaboration with customers, other Software Developers, Business System Analysts, and project team members.  30-50%

·         Under the direction or general guidance of other developers, code and modify simple applications using programming tools.  Document all code using standard forms and procedures, adhering to all naming conventions.  May independently create complex reports and assist others in the technical and analytical aspects of report creation.  30-50%

·         Participate in unit, system, and user acceptance testing with the project team and support organizations.  10-20%

·         Provide both on-call 24x7 and routing support for applications, utilizing monitoring tools, and respond with solutions to both functional and technical issues in a timely manner.  10-20%

·         Under the guidance of other developers, identify data mappings, perform gap analysis for third party data conversions, and perform database development.   5-10%

Manhattan Associates is currently searching for a TECHNICAL ANALYST for our corporate office in NW Atlanta, GA.  The key role for this position initially is to assist with the SQL Reporting initiative.  This is going require the right candidate to be able to analyze existing reports and combine them into one report.  Additionally, the successful candidate will organize the reports into the appropriate groups (Finance, NetSteps, Operations), this would be done using the interface.
