Designs training and developmental programs and processes for employee skill enhancement and career development that target individuals as well as groups. Links performance management and employee development to larger organizational goals and strategies in order to improve organizational effectiveness through team-building, leadership development, improved communication and goal setting activities, and other organizational development activities. Administers training programs to ensure the availability of licensed and qualified personnel. Analyzes and determines training needs and develops customized training programs and/or identifies appropriate off-the-shelf or vendor training programs for various company business units that will enhance both technical and core competencies across the organization. Evaluates training programs to ensure they are providing the appropriate level of instruction and skills development.
