Job Title:             IT Business Analyst – Oracle SCM

1st phase- opening retail stores

Creates SC infra to support retail stores/inv/OM. Demantra, project planning a plus.

 

2nd phase regression testing

No Design exp needed.

Come in & understand the current configs

Job Description

Work on the Oracle Applications development team as an analyst supporting Supply Chain modules. Serve as primary testing coordinator for the Oracle Application during the testing phases of client’s wireless rollout.

 

The expectations of the position are:

§  Learn and understand the Oracle ERP Supply Chain modules that support the Wireless platform. 

§  Learn and understand the integration points between Oracle ERP, the interface infrastructure and other applications within the wireless systems footprint.

§  Be the central point of contact into the Oracle Applications development team for all testing activities.

§  Coordinate testing activities with the project testing teams for other applications within the wireless systems footprint, as well as Brightstar, client Supply Chain 3PL.

§  Attend and participate in all test planning and status meetings.

§  Enter setup and transactional data within the Oracle ERP test instances as required by test cases.

§  Execute and verify any Oracle ERP programs and interfaces necessary to support test cases.

§  Raise any testing issues to the project teams and appropriate log within test tracking tools (Quality Center).

§  Assist in troubleshooting efforts, especially those impacting Oracle ERP. 

§  Coordinate with the other Oracle ERP development team members to resolve issues.

§  Provide testing status to the Oracle Applications development team and management

 

Experience/skills needed

3 to 5 years Experience with Oracle Applications (11i required, especially functions/features, configuration, security and support in, at least 3 or more of the following areas,  (Oracle ERP: Demantra Demand Management (DM), Advanced Supply Chain Management (ASCP), Inventory, Bill of Materials, Warehouse Management (WMS), Work In Process (WIP), Purchasing, iProcurement and Order Management modules.);

Experience in a testing and testing coordination role

Ability to coordinate between multiple groups

Ability to work independently on major projects

Ability to write detailed design documentation

Ability to review technical design documentation and ensure meets requirements for functional designs

Excellent Troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication skills

Proficient with SQL and basic relational database concepts

             

Additional skills:

Experience with HP Quality Center

Experience with customer facing retail applications such as Seibel CRM

Project/implementation experience a plus
