Need: Traffic Specialist I - Atlanta, GA - Right to Hire position

Hire Details:

This position has potential to go full-time / perm and also the possibility of extension. Candidates will need to be flexible with shifts: available to work day, evening and weekends. Candidates will be required to pass a computer basic skills test in person prior to interviewing with hiring manager. Please refrain from submitting candidates previously submitted to similar requisitions unless instructed to do so by WFL.

 

Responsible for entering and executing advertising insertion contracts from the time the order is delivered by Sales to the time the order has ended and the client is invoiced. Once the contract completes its flight, they are then responsible for accurately billing what aired against what was ordered and scheduled. Accountable for communicating contract pacing and billing with routine reports distributed to Sales. Also reports inventory analysis on all insertable networks and specific top programming to Sales and Management. Streamline workflow between all departments for efficiency and high contract fulfillment rate. Develop, upgrade and implement new enhancements within the Traffic and Billing system that will help achieve business goals and selling initiatives.

1-Prepare and process daily contracts and confirmation forms and schedule change forms; prepare client schedules; organize and maintain traffic working files.

2-Preparation and creation of the daily program logs and traffics the spots for each of the system's channels that carry advertising; debriefs daily logs (post and compute), log adjustments, make goods, exceptions, catalog lists and log verifications.  Creates the daily event list download by the playback operators.  Is responsible for formatting of the network skeletons.

3-Be proficient with the Traffic and Billing Software and conduct programming and software updates. Responsible for the software maintenance, ensuring T&B is running correctly, and work with software vendor to find improvements and solve problems.

4-Responsible for the printing and distribution of daily reports including inventory, sales reports, and system performance reports.

5-Creates invoice affidavits for the proper billing of advertising customers including co-op and promotional.  Responsible for preparation of month end closing reports from traffic and billing. Works with Business Manager and Accounting Specialist in month end closing and serves as back up when necessary.
